• The River Seine Incident
  Gurbir Singh (via Internet Archive Wayback Machine) has saved a girl who was trying to take her life in the Seine, together with Julianne Orsino, bravely jumping into the river and getting her out. Gurbir has written a report on the incident and would like to share his thoughts with all of us.

• Mailing List
  Marcin Cieslak has set up a mailing list for WWW5 volunteers. Even now the conference is over let's stay in touch.

• Thank you from Barbara Kucera
  Barbara Kucera has sent out a thank you message to all volunteers, we seem to have done pretty well again.

  Information on the Fifth World Wide Web Conference (WWW5) is available on the official conference server. Note: The slides server has moved to http://web.archive.org/web/19990417171031/www5conf.inria.fr/fich_html/slides/Welcome.html.

• Will these pages be available after the conference also?
  Yes, I have no plans at all to remove the pages. Instead I would like to add more information, such as conference reviews, links to pictures, to volunteers' homepages and stuff like that. Keep posted!
