A Message from Barbara Kucera

I just returned to my office yesterday and wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for your outstanding volunteer performance during the Fifth International World Wide Web Conference.

I hope you enjoyed the experience and believe that it provided a worthwhile opportunity for you to participate in the Web community.

Sylvia did an exceptional job, as usual, leading by example. The team leaders also shouldered their responsibility very well and I believe that the team concept is worth pursuing and refining for the next conference. The Paris conference would not have run as smoothly as it did without the dedication and hard work of everyone involved.

On behalf of the organizing committee, I want to tell you that we truly appreciate your efforts. Thank you.
